What you’ll need
1 packet Three Aussie Farmers Pulled Pork
1 packet spring rolls wrappers, cut in half
3/4 cup hoisin sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 oyster sauce
2 Tbsp. molasses
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. Shaoxing wine
2 clove garlic, minced
2 tsp. ginger, minced
1 tsp. Chinese 5 spice
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cornflour, mixed with 2 tsp. warm water
How to make it
Pre-heat deep fryer to 180°C.
Heat a small saucepan over med. heat.
To make the BBQ dipping sauce, place 1/4 cup of hoisin sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce, molasses, soy sauce, shoaxing wine, garlic, ginger, chinese 5 spice and salt into saucepan. Simmer until the sugar has dissolved and the sauce has thickened so that it coats the back of a spoon.
Combine leftover hoisin with pulled pork.
Place 1 Tbsp. of pork mixture onto one end of the spring roll wrapper. Fold the bottom corner over the filling and then tightly roll a couple of times. Fold the side edges in and roll tightly again and seal edges with cornflour mixture. Repeat until all the wrappers are filled.
Place spring rolls into deep fryer and cook until golden.
Serve spring rolls with Asian BBQ sauce and enjoy!
