Sweet Chili & Lime Pigs In Blanket Skewers

Bacon makes everything better!  These zesty pig in blanket skewers are great for your next barbecue. Get the kids involved for a bit of fun!

how to make it

  1. Gently twist sausages in half to form chipolatas and separate into individual sausages.
  2. Wrap in bacon and skewer in the middle of each chipolata where the bacon overlaps. 
  3. Repeat until each skewer has 4-5 chipolatas.
  4. In a small bowl, mix sweet chilli sauce and lime juice.  Baste each skewer.
  5. Grill on the barbecue or in the fry-pan over med heat for 15 mins, turning regularly, until cooked through.
  6. Baste and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
