Pulled Pork Nachoes in Whisky BBQ Sauce

Something different for the footy season! They're sweet, smokey, and savoury nachoes!

  1. In a large fry-pan over med heat, cook the onions and garlic in the whisky until soft and translucent. Add the vinegar, Worcestershire, tomato sauce, tomato paste, black pepper, salt, brown sugar and tabasco sauce.
  2. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 mins. Pour sauce into a blender and blend until smooth.
  3. Return sauce to fry-pan then add in the Pulled Pork. Toss until well combined and heated through.
  4. In a large oven proof dish add a handful of corn chips. Next, layer in some of the Pulled Pork, tomatoes, red onion, avocado, cheese then corn chips again. Continue this process until all ingredients are added, then top off with a final layer of cheese.
  5. Place under the grill at 200OC until the cheese melts.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
