Smoked Hock Sandwich with White Dressing

Craving a reuben sandwich, but don't have time to make the pastrami at home? Try using our delicious wood smoked bacon hock instead!

how to make it

  1. Preheat grill to 220⁰C.
  2. In a small mixing bowl combine all the ingredients for the dressing and whisk until well combined then set a side.
  3. Toast the Turkish bread loaves then butter the inside of them.
  4. Take a generous 2 Tbsp. of the dressing and lather it on top of the butter. Next put the shredded hock meat followed by the sauerkraut and a slice of cheese.
  5. Place into the grill to melt the cheese for 2-3mins. Remove from grill then place the other half of Turkish bread on top.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
