Spicy Sicilian Sausage Nachos

Try these tasty and delicious Spicy Sicilian Sausage Nachos using Dan & Steph’s Sicilian Style Snags! This will be a family household favourite!

What you’ll need

  1. 500g Dan and Steph’s Spicy Sicilian Sausages
  2. 175g Corn Chips
  3. 1/2 red capsicum, diced
  4. 2 cups grated cheese
  5. 1 cup tomato salsa
  6. 1 jalapeno, sliced
  7. 1 avocado, sliced
  8. 3 Tbsp. sour cream
  9. 1/2 cup olives, sliced
  10. 1 spring onion, sliced

How to make it

  1. Place a fry-pan over med heat with 1 Tbsp. olive oil.
  2. Squeeze out sausage insides and place into the fry-pan. Discard skins of sausages.
  3. Cook sausage, breaking apart with wooden spoon until it resembles mince.
  4. Heat oven to 180˚C.
  5. Lay corn chips on baking tray. Top with sausage mince, salsa, capsicum, jalapenos, olives and cheese.
  6. Place in oven and cook for 10 mins or until cheese is melted and golden.
  7. Remove from oven. Top with sour cream, avocado and spring onions.
  8. Enjoy!
