What You Need
1 pack Three Aussie Farmers Outback BBQ Burgers
4 SunPork Fresh Foods Bacon Rashers
¼ cup cheddar cheese, grated
¼ cup mozzarella cheese, grated
¼ cup parmesan cheese, grated
1 brown onion, sliced
2 tsp. oil
Barbecue sauce
2 burger buns, toasted
How To Make It
Pre-heat fan forced oven to 180°C.
In a bowl, combine cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese.
Place 2 burger patties on a flat surface, then add the cheese mixture to the center and top with another burger patty.
Press the edges together to create a firm seal and set aside.
In a large fry-pan over med. heat, cook bacon until crispy, then transfer to a plate and reserve fry-pan with bacon fat.
Add onion to fry-pan, cook for 8 – 10 mins or until caramelised and set aside.
In the same fry-pan over a med. heat, add oil. Add burger patties and cook for 5 mins each side, or until browned.
Transfer burger patties to a lined oven tray, then place in the oven and cook for 10 mins, until the internal meat temp. reaches 75°C.
Spread barbecue sauce onto each burger bun, then place a stuffed burger patty onto each bun and top with bacon, onions, and burger bun top.
Serve and enjoy!
