Trail Mix with Dry Apple, Pineapple and Bacon

Snacking on your hike is important, and keeping up your daily bacon intake is a necessity. Bring your Trail Mix to the next level by adding brown sugar-coated bacon, it’s a sure fire way to keep you going on your hike, road trip or your walk from the fridge to the couch!

  1. Pre-heat fan forced oven to 180OC.
  2. Lay bacon rashers flat on a lined baking tray and cover with brown sugar. Place into the oven and bake for 15 mins. Allow to cool and set side.
  3. Pour all ingredients into a medium-sized bowl and mix well. Store in an airtight container.
