Blue Cheese Stuffed Buffalo Meatballs

We all deserve a treat every now and then, and these blue cheese stuffed buffalo flavoured meatballs are going to take your snack game to the next level. Dip them in hot sauce for an extra kick or keep it cheesy with blue cheese dip.

what you need

  • 1 pack Three Aussie Farmers Great Aussie Bite Burgers
  • ⅓ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 150g blue cheese, cut into 2cm cubes
  • ½ cup Frank’s hot sauce
  • Celery stalks, to serve
  • Ranch or blue cheese dressing, to serve

how to make it

  1. Mix burger mince, breadcrumbs, garlic and egg in a bowl. 
  2. Take a piece of blue cheese and form the mince mixture around the cheese to make a ball. Repeat until all mixture is used, then place balls onto a lined baking tray and into the fridge to rest for 30 mins.
  3. Preheat fan-forced oven to 220°C.
  4. Bake the meatballs for 25 minutes.
  5. To give meatballs a lovely char, finish by tossing in a hot fry-pan to brown the outside.
  6. Serve with celery sticks and ranch / blue cheese sauce and Franks hot sauce for an extra kick.

Made from 100% Aussie grown pork, she’s a bit spicy and a bit tangy and well worth a go. There’s a bite of a bite, but it’s definitely on the mild end of things – so don’t be afraid of the heat!
