Farmhouse Curried Sausages

Try a good old classic dish this weekend – Curried Snags! Delicious Farmhouse Sausages in a tasty curry sauce served on a bed of mash – YUM

What you’ll need

  1. 1 packet Dan & Steph’s Farmhouse Sausages
  2. 1 brown onion, sliced
  3. 2 carrots, peeled & sliced
  4. 2 garlic cloves, minced
  5. 1 Tbsp. plain flour
  6. 1 Tbsp. butter
  7. 1 Tbsp. curry powder
  8. 1 cup chicken stock
  9. 1 cup milk
  10. Mash potato, to serve
  11. Parsley, to serve

How to make it

  1. Cook sausages according to packet instructions.
  2. Heat oil in fry-pan over med. heat. Add onion, carrot and garlic. cook for 5 mins or until soft. Add butter and melt until it starts to bubble. Add flour then cook for 2 mins.
  3. Add chicken stock, milk and curry powder. Stir until combined. Add sausages and reduce heat. Allow to simmer for 5 mins.
  4. Serve curried snags over mash potato and top with chopped parsley.
