BBQ Pulled Pork Jaffle
The simple things are so often the best. What could beat a cheesy, barbecue pulled pork jaffle? The perfect snack or meal for any occasion.
what you need
- 1 pack Three Aussie Farmers Pulled Pork
- ½ cup barbecue sauce
- 8 slices bread
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 8 slices gouda cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
- 8 slices American cheese
how to make it
- Preheat jaffle maker.
- In a large fry-pan over med heat, cook pulled pork for 5-10 mins or until heated through. Remove from the heat and stir in barbecue sauce.
- Butter one side of each each slice of bread. Place two slices together with the butter in the centre. Repeat with all slices.
- Layer ingredients onto the bread stacks on the unbuttered side. Add two slices of gouda, pulled pork, mozzarella and two slices of American cheese to each stack.
- Remove the top slice of each stack and place buttered side down on the jaffle maker. Cover with the other slice of bread, buttered side up. Cook until golden and crispy. Repeat until all jaffles have been cooked.
- Serve and enjoy!
You can’t go wrong with pulled pork. Especially slow cooked Aussie pulled pork that’s faster to make than baked beans on toast. It’s a big claim, but this might be the best thing since sliced bread… The only hard bit is deciding how to eat it – sliders, nachos, tacos, wraps, salads, pasta,- or you could forget that and just grab a fork.
