Buffalo Pork BItes
A spicy snack to share or a naughty meal for one, this recipe has everything you love about the classic wing dish – minus the mess!
what you need
- 1 pack Three Aussie Farmers Great Aussie Bite Burgers
- 1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- ¼ cup butter, cubed
- ½ cup Frank’s hot sauce
- Celery stalks, to serve
- Ranch/blue cheese dressing, to serve
how to make it
- Preheat the oven to 220°C.
- Mix burger mince, breadcrumbs, garlic and egg in a bowl. Form small meatballs and place them onto a lined baking tray in the fridge to rest for 30 mins.
- Bake the meatballs for 25 mins.
- While meatballs are baking, heat hot sauce in a saucepan over med-low heat. Whisk in the butter one cube at a time until well mixed. Keep warm, but do not let this simmer or the sauce will split.
- Toss cooked meatballs through the hot sauce to coat. Serve with celery sticks and ranch / blue cheese sauce.
- Enjoy!
If we’re being straight up, this burger is modelled on that buffalo sauce we all know and love.
Made from 100% Aussie grown pork, she’s a bit spicy and a bit tangy and well worth a go. There’s a bite of a bite, but it’s definitely on the mild end of things – so don’t be afraid of the heat!
