Classic Aussie Banger Pasta Bake

What You Need
- 1 pack Three Aussie Farmers Classic Aussie Bangers, casings removed
- 400g large rigatoni pasta
- Olive oil
- 1 brown onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. oregano
- ½ tsp. red chilli flakes
- 150ml tomato passata
- 1 cup ricotta
- 1½ cups mozzarella cheese, grated
- 2 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
How To Make It
- Preheat fan-forced oven to 180⁰C.
- Cook pasta according to pack instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a fry-pan over med-high heat, break mince into small pieces and cook meat until browned.
- Add onion, oregano and chilli flakes and cook until onions are soft.
- Add passata and season to taste, reduce and simmer for approx. 15 mins until sauce starts to thicken.
- In a baking dish, spread a third of the meat mix over the bottom.
- Add remaining meat mixture to pasta and toss to combine, then add to the baking dish.
- Spoon ricotta over the top of the shells and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Place into the oven and bake for approx. 20 mins or until cheese is golden.
- Remove from oven, garnish with parsley.
- Serve and enjoy!
