DIY Hotdog Board

What You Need

  • 1 pack Three Aussie Farmers Sausages – Pick your favourite (we used Farmhouse and Classic Aussie Bangers)
  • ½ Tbsp. oil
  • 1 brown onion, sliced
  • 6 hotdog buns, warmed
  • 1 cup cheese, grated
  • 1 red chilli, chopped
  • 1 green chilli, chopped
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce
  • ½ cup mustard
  • ½ cup gherkin relish
  • ½ cup sweet pickles, sliced
  • ½ jar roasted capsicums
  • 3 cups rocket leaves

How To Make It

  1. Heat oil in a small fry-pan over a low-med heat. Add onion and cook for 7 mins, until the onion has browned.
  2. Cook sausages according to the pack instructions.
  3. Meanwhile, place the cooked onions, cheese, chilli slices and sauces into different serving dishes.
  4. Select a very large serving board or platter, and arrange your ingredients. Start with stacking the buns on one side of the board, then pile the sausages on the opposite side.
  5. Place the cheese into the centre, then begin filling the gaps with the chilli bowls and sauces.
  6. Place the pickles and roasted capsicum in serving dishes, and add to the board.
  7. Use the rocket leaves to fill in all the gaps.
  8. Serve share style and let the family make their own delicious creations. Enjoy!
