Farmhouse Caprese Pasta Salad
Everyone loves a quick and simple salad, especially when it’s not all leaves. This one takes the classic Italian flavours of a Caprese salad, combined with pasta and the tasty herbs in our Farmhouse snags.
what you need
- 1 pack Three Aussie Farmers Farmhouse Style Sausages
- 1 pack spiral pasta
- 1 punnet cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 tub baby bocconcini, drained
- ½ cup fresh basil leaves, sliced
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ½ tsp. dried oregano
- ½ tsp. dried garlic powder
- ½ tsp. onion powder
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Balsamic glaze
how to make it
- Cook pasta according to pack instructions, drain and set aside to cool.
- While pasta is cooking, cook sausages as per pack instructions. Slice and set aside.
- Once pasta has cooled, place in a large bowl then add tomatoes, bocconcini, basil and sausage.
- To make the dressing, whisk olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder and crushed garlic together in a small bowl.
- Season to taste and pour dressing over the top, tossing to combine and coat pasta.
- Serve and enjoy!
