French Toast Sausage Rolls
We’re putting a twist on a breakfast classic with these French Toast Sausage Rolls. The perfect combination of sweet and savoury all rolled up in one delicious bite!
What You Need
- 1 pack Three Aussie Farmers Farmhouse Sausages
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- ½ tsp. cinnamon
- 12 slices bread, crusts removed and flattened
- 6 toothpicks
- Maple syrup, to serve
How To Make It
- Cook sausages according to pack instructions and set aside.
- Whisk eggs, milk, and cinnamon together in a bowl.
- Place two slices of bread on a flat surface, overlap them by ⅓ and press together to create a larger piece of bread. Place a sausage on the bread, roll tightly then dunk into the egg mixture. Use a toothpick to help hold it together.
- Place in a fry-pan over med. heat and cook for 5 mins turning constantly until the bread is cooked
- Serve with maple syrup and enjoy!
