

Ham Honey & Cheese Open Toastie
A ham and cheese toastie is a staple in most households, but every now and then you need to mix things up. We thought it sounded a bit odd, but a bit of honey and some fresh peppery rocket makes this a winner and it’s well worth a try!
What You Need
- 12 slices Three Aussie Farmers Leg Ham
- 6 slices sourdough bread
- 3 Tbsp. butter, softened
- 3 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 6 slices Havarti cheese
- 1 apple, sliced
- ½ cup grated cheese
- 50g rocket
- 3 Tbsp. honey, warmed
- 1 tsp. chilli flakes
How To Make It
- Preheat fan-forced oven to 200⁰C.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of sourdough and toast in the oven until golden, then remove from the oven.
- Spread Dijon mustard on each slice. Layer Havarti cheese, ham, apple and grated cheese, then return to oven for approx. 5 mins or until cheese has melted.
- Add rocket, drizzle with warmed honey and sprinkle with chilli flakes.
- Serve and enjoy!
