

LOUSIANA SAUSAGE BIRYANI
When the hustle and bustle of the work week is starting to take its toll, this simple yet incredibly tasty Indian Biryani is a crowd pleaser, and can be whipped up quick as a flash.
What You Need
- 1 pack Three Aussie Farmers Louisiana Sausages
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 tsp. garam masala
- 2 Tbsp. biryani spice paste
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 300g basmati rice, cooked
- 5 sprigs coriander
How To Make It
- Cook sausages according to pack instructions in a large fry-pan. Set aside until cool enough to handle and slice.
- In the same the fry-pan, sauté onions with garam masala, over med heat, until they begin to caramelise. Add sausage and spice paste and stir constantly to avoid burning the spices.
- Add peas, rice and 2 Tbsp. water, then mix well. Cook for a further 5 mins.
- Sprinkle with coriander.
- Serve and enjoy!
TIP: For a little bit of sweetness and nuttiness try adding sultanas and cashews at the end!
