Saucy Snags With Summer Veg
As the sizzle of summer heats up, nothing beats the delicious smell of our Classic Aussie Bangers on the barbie! Except maybe if you add some summer veg, grilled to perfection with a cracking sweet and savoury peach sauce.
What You Need
- 1 pack Three Aussie Farmers Classic Aussie Bangers
- 170g peaches in juice fruit cup
- 120ml soy sauce
- 2 tsp. fresh ginger, grated
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- ½ tsp. tabasco sauce
- 2 fresh peaches, quartered
- 1 small red capsicum, chopped
- 1 small green capsicum, chopped
- 1 zucchini, sliced
- 2 yellow squash, quartered
- Steamed rice, to serve
How To Make It
- In a blender, combine peach fruit cup, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and tabasco and blend until smooth.
- In a large bowl, place all the chopped vegetables, then pour in half the sauce and mix through.
- Pre-heat BBQ to med-high, then cook sausages on the grill according to pack instructions. Remove from the heat and cut into thick slices.
- Add peach wedges, flesh side down onto the grill and cook until grill lines caramelise on each piece. Remove from the heat and set aside.
- Cook vegetables in batches until tender and lightly charred. Repeat until all vegetables are cooked.
- Heat a large fry-pan over med-high heat. Transfer vegetables grilled peaches, sausages and remaining sauce to the pan and toss for 5 mins until sauce starts to thicken.
- Serve with steamed rice and enjoy!
