Sausage & Egg Bagel
Juicy sausage, soft scrambled egg and melty cheese all in a toasted bagel. Now that’s something we’d get out of bed for.
What You Need
- 1 pack Three Aussie Farmers Classic Aussie Bangers
- 1 tsp. oil
- ½ red capsicum, diced
- ½ green capsicum, diced
- ½ brown onion, finely chopped
- 6 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- ½ cup cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 bagels, split
How To Make It
- Preheat fan-forced oven to 180°C.
- Cook sausages according to pack instructions, then cut in half lengthways, then widthways.
- Heat oil in a fry-pan over med. heat. Add capsicum and onion, then cook for 5 mins until softened.
- In a small bowl, crack eggs, then season with salt, and pepper and whisk together.
- In a small saucepan over low-med heat, melt butter then add eggs and cook for 5 mins, stirring continuously.
- Place two bagel halves on a lined oven tray. Add scrambled eggs, vegetables, sausages, and cheese.
- Top with the other bagel halves and place into the oven to grill until the cheese has melted.
- Serve and enjoy!
