Sausage & Egg Bagel

Juicy sausage, soft scrambled egg and melty cheese all in a toasted bagel. Now that’s something we’d get out of bed for.

What You Need

  • 1 pack Three Aussie Farmers Classic Aussie Bangers
  • 1 tsp. oil
  • ½ red capsicum, diced
  • ½ green capsicum, diced
  • ½ brown onion, finely chopped
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 bagels, split

How To Make It

  1. Preheat fan-forced oven to 180°C.
  2. Cook sausages according to pack instructions, then cut in half lengthways, then widthways.
  3. Heat oil in a fry-pan over med. heat. Add capsicum and onion, then cook for 5 mins until softened.
  4. In a small bowl, crack eggs, then season with salt, and pepper and whisk together.
  5. In a small saucepan over low-med heat, melt butter then add eggs and cook for 5 mins, stirring continuously.
  6. Place two bagel halves on a lined oven tray. Add scrambled eggs, vegetables, sausages, and cheese.
  7. Top with the other bagel halves and place into the oven to grill until the cheese has melted.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
