Sausage & Hash Brown Bake

what you need
- 1 pack Three Aussie Farmers Louisiana Sausages, casings removed
- 400g Three Aussie Farmers Leg Ham, chopped
- 4 eggs
- ¼ cup milk
- ½ tsp. smoked paprika
- ½ tsp. onion powder
- ¼ tsp. ground white pepper
- ¼ tsp. garlic powder
- 1 pack frozen hash browns
- ½ cup shredded cheese
- 2 spring onions, chopped
how to make it
- Pre-heat fan forced oven to 180°C.
- Brown the sausage meat in a fry-pan over med heat , then add the ham and sauté together until warmed through.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs, milk and seasonings until well combined.
- In a small greased bread loaf tray, arrange the hash browns in a layer on the bottom of the tray. Pour ⅔ of the egg mixture over the hash browns. Cover with ¼ cup shredded cheese, the meat mixture, and then the remaining egg mixture. Top with the last ¼ cup shredded cheese and cover loosely with greased foil.
- Bake for 30 mins or until the egg mixture is firm and the cheese is melted. Remove foil and bake for a further 5-10 mins to brown the top. Let stand for 5-10 mins, and sprinkle with spring onions to serve. Enjoy!
