Sausage & Ricotta Pizza
Looking for a quick and delicious dinner that everyone will love? This Sausage & Ricotta Pizza is a perfect choice! With juicy sausage, creamy ricotta, and the freshness of basil, this pizza comes together in just 30 minutes. It’s easy to make, packed with flavour, and sure to become a new favourite.
What You Need
- 1 pack Three Aussie Farmers Farmhouse Sausages, casings removed
- 2 tsp. oil
- 1 yellow capsicum, thinly sliced
- 4 pizza bases
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 400g ricotta
- 8 green olives, roughly chopped (optional)
- Fresh basil leaves, to garnish
- Parmesan, grated, to garnish
How To Make It
- Pre-heat fan forced oven to 180°C.
- Heat oil in a fry-pan over a med. heat. Add capsicum and cook for 3 mins until it begins to soften. Add sausage meat, break up into smaller pieces with a wooden spoon and cook until browned then set aside.
- Lay pizza bases onto lined baking trays. Evenly spread the pizza sauce on each of the bases. Add capsicum and sausage mixture before topping with dollops of ricotta and sprinkling over olives.
- Place in the oven and bake for 10 mins until the pizza bases are cooked and the ricotta has melted slightly.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with basil and parmesan before cutting into 8 slices.
- Serve and enjoy!
