Smoky Ham & Creamy Tomato Pasta
This recipe is so quick and simple you’ll whip it up in no time. Smoky Aussie ham with rich tomato sauce, you can’t go wrong.
What You Need
- 8 slices Three Aussie Farmers Leg Ham, chopped
- 350g pasta
- 1 brown onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 200g cherry tomatoes, cut
- 150g thickened cream
- 200g semi-dried tomatoes
- 100g rocket
- 50g shaved parmesan
- Fresh basil, to garnish
How To Make It
- Cook pasta according to pack instructions, reserve half a cup of liquid and then drain.
- In a large fry-pan over med. heat, sauté onions in oil from semi-dried tomatoes until softened, add garlic and stir.
- Add ham and cherry tomatoes and cook for approx. 5 mins. followed by cream and semi-dried tomatoes.
- Add pasta to fry-pan with reserved pasta liquid and stir through with parmesan.
- Add rocket and fresh basil.
- Serve and enjoy!
