The Outback BBQ Burger

WanChunky, homestyle beef and pork burgers – just like mum used to make! We’ve added some smoke and garlic to make these Aussie grown meat patties shine!

what you need

  • 1 pack of Three Aussie Farmers The Outback BBQ
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. raw sugar
  • 8 bacon rashers
  • 4 buns, toasted
  • 4 cheddar cheese slices
  • Smokey BBQ sauce, to taste
  • Garlic sauce, to taste
  • 2 pickles, sliced
  • 1 red onion, sliced

how to make it

  1. Cook onions in a fry-pan over med-high heat. Once onions have started to brown, add the sugar and stir for 5 mins or until caramelised, then set aside.
  2. In the same pan cook the bacon rashers for 3 mins each side or until crispy and set aside.
  3. Preheat grill and cook burger patties according to packet instructions.
  4. Place caramelised onions onto burger bun, followed by the cheese, crispy bacon, BBQ sauce, garlic sauce, pickles and red onions.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
