Garlic and Thyme Farmhouse Sausage Skillet
A quick and tasty recipe that the whole family can enjoy! Packed full of flavour, this weeknight wonder will satisfy even the fussiest of eaters.
what you need
- 1 pack of Three Aussie Farmers Farmhouse Sausages, sliced
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1kg red potatoes, quartered and cooked
- Salt & pepper
- 2 tsp. dried thyme
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 bunch curly kale, roughly chopped
- 1 lemon
how to make it
- Heat 2 Tbsp. olive oil in a large fry-pan over med-high heat. Add potatoes, cut side down and cook without stirring until they start to turn golden brown. Stir and continue cooking for 5 mins until all sides are crispy. Season with salt, pepper and thyme.
- Add 1 Tbsp. of olive oil and the sliced sausages to the potatoes, cooking for 4-5 mins or until sausage pieces are crispy.
- Add onions, stirring often, and cook for 5 mins or until onions have softened.
- Reduce heat to med. Add garlic, stirring for 1 min. Add kale, stirring regularly for 3 mins until the kale has wilted.
- Squeeze a lemon over the top of the dish and serve.
TIP: If the kale overcrowds the pan, sauté in a separate fry-pan before adding to the potato sausage mixture.
