

Pulled Pork Bao Buns
A quick meal doesn’t have to be a boring meal. These fast and tasty pulled pork bao buns are just the ticket if you’re short on time and don’t want to compromise on flavour.
What You Need
- 1 pack Three Aussie Farmers Pulled Pork
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 100ml rice wine vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. hoisin sauce
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 6 bao buns
- 2 spring onions, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. kewpie mayonnaise
- 3 sprigs coriander, leaves removed
- 2 Tbsp. fried shallots
How To Make It
- Combine onion and vinegar in a bowl and set aside to pickle.
- Cook pulled pork according to pack instructions, add hoisin, soy and honey and mix through.
- While pork is cooking, steam frozen buns for approx. 5 mins until warmed through.
- Carefully separate buns and layer with pulled pork, pickled onion and spring onion, then top with a squeeze of kewpie and garnish with coriander and fried shallots.
- Serve and enjoy!

You can’t go wrong with pulled pork. Especially slow cooked Aussie pulled pork that’s faster to make than baked beans on toast. It’s a big claim, but this might be the best thing since sliced bread… The only hard bit is deciding how to eat it – sliders, nachos, tacos, wraps, salads, pasta,- or you could forget that and just grab a fork.
