Sausage & Fig Pide
This Turkish inspired delight features succulent sausage slices nestled amongst luscious figs, all blanketed by a smooth whipped goat’s cheese atop a perfectly crisp crust.
What You Need
- 1 pack Three Aussie Farmers Farmhouse Sausages
- 200g goats cheese, softened
- 3 Tbsp. honey
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 250g pizza dough ball
- 6 figs, quartered
- 50g rocket leaves
- 2 Tbsp. fresh pomegranate seeds
How To Make It
- Preheat fan-forced oven to 200⁰C.
- In a bowl whisk goat cheese, 2 Tbsp. honey and cream together until smooth and set aside.
- Cook sausages according to pack instructions, then slice on the diagonal and set aside.
- Roll out dough and stretch into desired shape and place on a lined baking tray.
- Pre-bake in the oven for 5-10 mins until it starts to go golden. Remove from oven and flip.
- Top with whipped goat cheese, sausage and figs and return to oven for an additional 5-10 mins.
- Remove from oven, drizzle with honey and top with rocket and pomegranate seeds.
- Serve and enjoy!
