Sausage on Toast Three Ways
A simple snag on toast is the breakfast of champions, but adding a few extra’s really hits the spot.
what you need
- 1 pack Three Aussie Farmers Classic Aussie Bangers
- 1 ciabatta loaf, sliced
- 1 garlic clove, halved
Bruschetta
- 6 cherry tomatoes, halved
- 4 fresh basil leaves
- ¼ red onion, thinly sliced
Smashed Avo
- ½ avocado, smashed
- 100g Persian feta
- ½ lemon, cut into wedges
- 1 spring onion, thinly sliced
Mushroom Feta
- 6 mushrooms, sliced
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 eschalot
- 100g Persian feta
how to make it
- Cook sausages according to pack instructions, set aside to cool then slice diagonally.
- Toast bread and rub with a clove of garlic.
- Top your toast with the following toppings and slices of sausage:
- Bruschetta – tomato, red onion, basil
- Smashed avo – avo, feta, lemon
- Creamy Mushies – mushroom, feta, shallots. Cook mushrooms, garlic, butter and eschalot in a fry-pan over med-high heat for 5 mins. Crumble feta over the top.
- Serve and enjoy!
