Sausage on Toast Three Ways

A simple snag on toast is the breakfast of champions, but adding a few extra’s really hits the spot.

what you need

  • 1 pack Three Aussie Farmers Classic Aussie Bangers
  • 1 ciabatta loaf, sliced
  • 1 garlic clove, halved


  • 6 cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 4 fresh basil leaves
  • ¼ red onion, thinly sliced

Smashed Avo

  • ½ avocado, smashed
  • 100g Persian feta
  • ½ lemon, cut into wedges
  • 1 spring onion, thinly sliced

Mushroom Feta

  • 6 mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 eschalot
  • 100g Persian feta

how to make it

  1. Cook sausages according to pack instructions, set aside to cool then slice diagonally.
  2. Toast bread and rub with a clove of garlic.
  3. Top your toast with the following toppings and slices of sausage:
    • Bruschetta – tomato, red onion, basil
    • Smashed avo – avo, feta, lemon
    • Creamy Mushies – mushroom, feta, shallots. Cook mushrooms, garlic, butter and eschalot in a fry-pan over med-high heat for 5 mins. Crumble feta over the top.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
