Tandoori Koftas with Pineapple and Cucumber Salsa
A new take on a classic dish, we think you’ll love our Three Aussie Farmers Classic Aussie Banger Sausages combined with delicious smoky, sweet and spicy flavours.
What You Need
- 1 pack Three Aussie Farmers Classic Aussie Banger Sausages, casings removed
- 3 Tbsp. tandoori paste
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 cup Greek yoghurt
- 6 wooden skewers, soaked in water
- 4 Naan Bread
- 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
- 1 cup cucumber, diced
- 1 jalapeno, diced
- ½ red onion, finely diced
- 1 Tbsp. fresh coriander, chopped
- 1 lime, juiced
- 2 Tbsp. fresh mint, chopped
How To Make It
- Preheat fan-forced oven to 180⁰C.
- In a bowl, mix sausage meat, tandoori paste, garlic and 2 Tbsp. Greek yoghurt until well combined.
- Form a kofta around skewers and place on a tray. Grill on barbecue for 15 mins, turning to evenly cook and add char marks.
- While koftas are cooking prepare salsa by mixing pineapple, cucumber, jalapeno, red onion, coriander and lime juice and set aside.
- Prepare herb yoghurt by mixing 1 cup Greek yoghurt and mint.
- Toast naan bread on barbecue prior to serving.
- Once koftas are ready, serve with salsa, yoghurt and naan.
- Serve and enjoy!
