Vegemite Sausage Rolls
You’ll have a team of happy little vegemite’s with these super easy and yummy vegemite sausage rolls.
What You Need
- 1 pack Three Aussie Farmers Farmhouse Sausages, casings removed
- 1 brown onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 3 Tbsp. vegemite
- 2 eggs, 1 for egg wash
- 4 sheets puff pastry
- 2 Tbsp. sesame seeds
How To Make It
- Preheat fan-forced oven to 180⁰C.
- In a bowl, add sausage meat, onion, garlic, bread crumbs, tomato paste, vegemite, and 1 egg and mix until well combined.
- Take the pastry sheet and cut in half, placing mixture down the middle of each half.
- Brush egg wash onto the edge of pastry, roll the pastry to enclose sausage mix.
- Place sausage rolls on a lined baking tray, brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Place into the oven and bake for 20 mins.
- Serve with tomato sauce.
